Is there a way to create an editable template document and embed it into a website, probably locked down by the domain, and let anybody edit the template document without having to sign into Adobe?
Especially with the OEM version of Adobe sign.
Currently I have this process this working but it requires the user to sign into Adobe.
Upload a transient file to use for creating the template.
Use the transient document ID from the response to create a new library template.
Use the POST /libararyDocuments/{libraryDicumentId}/views call to get the "EDIT" view of the newly created library template.

No, this is not possible. You must edit templates as a registered user with a profile. You can use the options to get an "auto-logged-in" URL, but this is still editing the template as a specific Sign user, just without requiring them to log in. Since you can't download the form as an editable file, I'm not sure why you would want to allow "anyone" to add form fields?
