I am using Adobe Acrobat 11 pro.

Lately while trying to open a specific PDF files from My Heritage I getting an error message "A number is out of range" and the file does not open.

Did not have this problem before is suddenly happened.

I can open the file with Microsoft Edge with no problem and also with Architect PDF Creator but unable to open with Acrobat 11 pro.

Can someone please guide me how to solve the problem?

Thanks

Hi yorshalev

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open the PDF

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try to download the file locally to your computer and try to open with Acrobat Pro 11

Please try to recreate the PDF and see if that works for you. OPen the PDF in Chrome web browser > Print as Adobe PDF with new file name.

Also what is the version of the Adobe Acrobat 11 you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat

The last version of Acrobat 11 was released on 14th Nov 2017 version 11.0.23 please update the application from the help menu > check for updates.
You may also download the patch manually from the link Overview — Release Notes for Legacy Acrobat Products

Adobe Acrobat 11 is an old and end of support application for more information refere to help page End of support for Adobe Acrobat XI and Reader XI

Amal
