Acrobat closes when saving

Hi There,

I've been adding/editing links in my PDF file and it closes immediately when saving (Ctrl+S). The links only go to certain page in the same document. (Not linking to any website or anything outside the document) Had the repair installation and it didn't help. Acrobat is up to date. 

Would like to know how to solve the problem. Many Thanks!

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, the application is crashing when you add/edit links within the PDF and save the document.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 21.01.20142 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to turn off the protected mode (Windows Only) for testing. Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable Protected mode at stratup' Turn Off the Protected mode and Uncheck 'Enhanced Security' > Click OK and reboot the computer

Note: Please turn on the security after testing to avoid any security risks.
