Acrobat DC error 101

I've seen a few posts in this community with this, found none with an actual solution. When I try to install Acrobat DC, it fails with error 101. Opening the resolution center the "solution" is to press Retry. That's not only "not a solution", as it's not working.

I've already removed, cleaned and reinstalled Acobe CC. No Dice.

This seems to be an isolated issue as Photoshop just installed just fine
