Madam, Sir,

Good evening.

I'm trying to download Adobe Acrobat DC Pro on my laptop (I'm registered on the site and my subscription still ok) and it's 6 times that it refuses to download it.
I have this as an error message that returns after each unsuccessful attempt :

Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW003, DW071 ...

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

 - 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s)

----------- Payload: Adobe Acrobat DC 19.12.20036.0 Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe_19.012.20036 ------------------

ERROR: DW071:

ERROR: DW003: Third party payload installer Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe failed with exit code: 1603

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Would a person have a solution to this refusal?
Sorry for my English, I'm French speaking, and go through Google Translate ...
Thank you for your understanding.

Cordially.
Christophe H.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for reaching out. As described above you are getting the Exit code 7 while installing the Adobe Acrobat DC, correct?

If you are installing Adobe Acrobat DC using the Creative Cloud Desktop Application, please try the troubleshooting steps provided in the link - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7-cc.html and check if that works for you.

If it still doesn't work,

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Amal

I ve tried all offered solutions, nothing worked for me ( macbook pro 16/2019 / Catalina + CC full package)

after a lot of tries i found a solution for me: looks like its the browser plugin in the acrobat installer that causes the issue. Install the stand alone version and deaktivate the additional plugin in the "configure install" area. Works like a snap 😉

cheers
