Hi Robyn,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble.

As you receive an error message when trying to edit PDF, would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error messages?

Do you experience this issue while editing a particular PDF? Or it happens with any PDF you try to edit?

Share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine. You may use the steps provided in the following help link to check the Acrobat version: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

Would it be possible to share any sample PDF on which the issue occurs? If yes, please upload the file on Document Cloud (https://documentcloud.adobe.com)and generate the link using the share option. Then share that link with us.

Try resetting the application preferences using the steps suggested in the following community thread: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792...

Check if that helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Robyn

++ Adding to the suggestion by MeenakshiNegi

You may also look at the steps provided in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-could-access-recognition-service.html and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal
