Acrobat DC fails via Creative Cloud and stand alone install

Despite following the multiple fixes posted here, I am unable to successfully install Acrobat DC.

Error received is:

Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR: DW003, DW071 ...

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are unsbale to install the application and getting error code 7 and 1603.

 

Please refer to the help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/Install_Error_codes_CC.html) and see if that works .

 

If ir still doesn't work, please create a new test user profile with fulladmin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try installing the application there and check.

I am already on an admin account and the error codes state 

InstallPayload failed.

Payload install failed.

 

which I already know as CC install fails. SO what is the work around?
