Hi, hoping someone can help me. I created a form in acrobat and went through the steps to distribute it, however none of the recipients received the form. What went wrong?
Thanks!

Hi 84087595
Can you please elaborate a little on "How did you distribute the form"? Did you select an Email or Network Server?

I selected email, then "send using Adobe Acrobat", then on the next screen I inserted the email addresses and clicked "send". But the emails never arrived...

++ Adding to the discussion,
Hi 84087595,
Your better off using Adobe Sign.
If I understood correctly, the method that you're describing requires that your system have IMAP enabled and also a default email client. It does involves some technical configuration. That is why I am suggesting to use Adobe Sign instead. Is quick and easy.

For the signers it works on web browsers, tablets, desktop computers and they don't need to have Adobe Acrobat or Reader installed either.
For you as the creator of the form, apply the last optional update of Acrobat thaty was released for May 2020; it features theAdobe Sign as a tool.
When you click on it, it will open a very stright-forward wizard with step by step guidance. It usually starts by adding the recipients email addresses of the signers, and then you can add signature, date, and data blocks for each signer.
The cool thing about this tool is that it will prevent users from signing in other fields and it gives you control of the editing while in transit.
Even is a person signed but an error needs to be ammended you can still apply edits.
And you can also save templates to reuse.

Thank you for the update.
Please provide additional details below.
1. Share with us the version of your Acrobat installed at your end. You can share a screenshot of Help > About Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
2. Does the form distribution workflow complete? You can confirm this with the display of the "Sending form" progress bar as well as launch of the Tracker window.

I have Acrobat XI 11.0.23
Yes the distribution workflow completes and the tracker window opens but the recipients don't receive the email.
@ls_rbls I don't think Adobe Sign will work as I have a full form which the clients need to complete, not just a signature.

Adobe no longer provides technical support for 11.0.x. We strongly recommends that you update to the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

It integrates with Fill & Sign. The user can fill in the form and also sign.
Here is how:

And here is the Adobe Sign user guide if later you're interested:
But as mentioned by Bhavna Negi you should consider upgrading.
However, you can always click HELP --->>>"Repair Installation" and fterwards reapply the last update that was released for that version.
It seems like reapplying the last planned update for that version fix some issues (just remember this all you can do as there's no more support for your version). But you can get that update from here.:
Also, if for some reason you're running into connectivity issues, and loosing functionality of things that used to work before, see the very last part of this thread for an unconventional approach:
