The Adobe Acrobat Pro DC installer is failing with the error message, "Acrobat installer encountered an unexpected failure. Please try again. If it continues to fail, contact Adobe support." I have a Windows 7 operating system and did have versions of Acrobat and Reader installed previously. I've uninstalled those previous versions. Based on a different forum question, I ran the Adobe cleaner tool to make sure the uninstalls had not left anything behind. I am in the administrator group on my computer. What is the next step to try to get this to install successfully?

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked for the log file, but it was not being updated by the installer. It must have failed before writing anything to the log file.
It turns out that my error was caused by something in the network configuration at my office. When I tried running the installer connected to my home network it ran successfully.

for acrobat dc,
using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html
for older acrobat, they probably won't help,
using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
