Acrobat - odd message

I have Acrobat Pro DC for Mac and recently, it has not happened before, when I open a document a small window also opens with the title "Contact Preparation Progress" and then below that "Please wait while the document is orepared for reading".  A copy of the screenshot is attached. Why do I get this and is there a way of stopping it?
