Acrobat Pro 2017 Mac OCR fehlerhafte Erkennung

Hallo Zusammen,

ich habe bereits seit einiger Zeit ein "Problem" mit der OCR-Technologie im Acrobat Pro 2017 für Mac (!). Der nachfolgende Screenshot stammt aus einer gescannten Seite mit Text, die ich im Acrobat Pro mit OCR ("Durchsuchbares Bild", 300 dpi) bearbeitet habe. Die Buchstaben werden zwar korrekt erkannt, jedoch stimmt der Zeichenabstand beim Auswählen der Wörter mit der Original-Schriftbreite nicht überein. Dieses Problem kann ich bei beliebig verschiedenen Scans reproduzieren. Hier ein Beispiel:

Nach mehrmaligem Testen ist mir nun aufgefallen, dass dieses Problem auch beim neuen Acrobat Pro 2020 auftaucht; aber scheinbar nur in der Mac-Version und nicht in der Windows-Version. Hat jemand eine Lösung oder ein ähnliches Problem?

This is going to sound weird, but both are correct. 

When Acrobat does it's OCR process, it creates an invisible set of characters in a layer above the actual text. This is what's sensed by selecting the text. So what you see as text and what you see as selected text is the same text just different spacing between the two. 

So, looks weird, seems weird, but there's nothing to worry about. The only thing that's critical is the accuracy of the OCR process and I hope that that's acceptable.

As far as Mac versus PC, it just happens that way from the default invisible font used.
