Acrobat Pro 2017 - Not printing in IE

I work for a large organization with a dozen users that use Pro 2017. From time to time they can no longer print from IE and we have to reinstall Pro. I've tried several things, clearing cache, etc and would like to be able to simply run a batch script or something that fixes this issue without having to completely reinstall... Any assistance in the creation or an explaination to track down the actual issue would be appreciated.

The print button simply will not do anything from within IE. The user has to save the PDF and open it in order to print. Even if you click the acrobat button in the bottom right and then try and print, the document will not print. It must be saved and opened before it will print.

Hi Leo,

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to print the PDF from within IE

It is the known issue from Microsoft with their latest release 2004. Please try to open the PDF in a different web browser and check. As a workaround please download the PDF to your computer and open with Acrobat/Reader DC and then print.

For more information please look at the similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/problem-with-print-function-after-windows-10-update-20...

Hope this information will help

It's not really an option to use another browser because the application
they work in is only compatible with IE. Also isn't an option to download
and then print as it's too time consuming for these users...
