Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the application is crashing upon using editing tools.

- Is this a behavior with with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check .

- If the File is stored on a shared network/drive please download and save it to your computer first and then open it with Adobe Acrobat 2020 and check

- What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat 2020 you are using? To check the version go to Help About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates. You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html and reboot the computer once after updating the application.

If it still doesn't work, please try to reset the Acrobat preferences to default as described in the help page: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792... and see if that works.

If it still doesn't work, please create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check .

Also please check out the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-mac.html and see if that helps.

Regards

Amal

Hello Amal,

We are experiencing a problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 (Classic - Perpetual).

On MacOS Big Sur MacBook Pro with processor M1, Acrobat crashes directly when we launch it.

Do you have a solution for this problem ?

Thanks for your help.
