Acrobat Pro continues to open the cached file intead of the most current version

Continuing problem with the application opening the first cached version of a PDF file as opposed to the most recent saved version. This problem has continued through multiply upgrades without being addressed. Can we please have a fix!!! Tired of having to save to a different file name name to avoid the problem.
