ACROBAT PRO DC 2021.001.20145 - SEND TO EMAIL - Email should be active window, not Acrobat

In previous versions of Acrobat, when I clicked the email icon to attach the active PDF to a message, I got a new message window with the PDF in the email window. The email window remained active. Now, it immediately returns to Acrobat before I can even type the email.

 

I've tried to find a setting to control this action, but can't find one. I'm not sure why the behavior was adjusted for the most recent versions, but it really disrupts my workflow. The mail window should remain active when sending a PDF to mail. Now, it doesn't.

 

OLD BEHAVIOR: 

  1. PDF open in active window.
  2. Envelope icon clicked to send PDF to mail.
  3. New Mail message opens with PDF attachment visible. 
  4. Email remains active window.

 

NEW BEHAVIOR

  1. PDF open in active window.
  2. Envelope icon clicked to send PDF to mail.
  3. New mail message opens with PDF attachment visible, but immediately returns to Acrobat (before I can click the email to keep it active.) Acrobat is active window, instead of email.
