There are currently three flavors of Adobe Acrobat available:

The free Adobe Acrobat Reader is only able to "read" PDF files (there are some exceptions to that, but that's the gist).

Then there is Adobe Acrobat DC Standard (or just Adobe Acrobat DC). This a version of Acrobat that is missing some of the more advanced features (e.g. print production, redaction, ...)

And at the top is Adobe Acrobat DC Pro. The "DC" is the version identifier, and that used to be Acrobat 9, X, XI, followed by DC, and the Pro and Standard describe the feature set available.

So, there is not an Acrobat Pro, it would always include a version ID as in Acrobat Pro DC - or in the past Acrobat XI Pro. If there is no "Pro" as part of the product name, and it's not the free Reader, you are dealing with Standard (which is only available for Windows, not for the Mac).

Acrobat Pro 2020 and Acrobat Standard 2020 are also available. They are in the "Classic" track, ie. a perpetual license, as opposed to the DC versions which are on the "Continuous" track, ie. subscription-based.
