Acrobat Reader Synchronizer

On restarting my 2012 iMac (10.13.6 OS), I get message, "Acrobat Reader Synchronizer prevented updates being installed." How do I get around this?

We are sorry for the trouble. As described on restarting the mac you get message, Acrobat Reader Synchronizer prevented updates being installed.

Please try to update the Mac OS to the latest version and see if that helps.

Also, what is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader. Make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates.
