I’m going to submit a book to IngramSpark in Acrobat format. Yet Ingram on their website says authors must use paragraph and character styles. I understand the need for internal consistency, but aren’t all styles lost when exporting from InDesign into Acrobat?
I would assume Acrobat doesn’t care if a paragraph is indented by a tab or by a paragraph style, as long as all the paragraphs are the same. My understanding it is not designed to author and edit the product once imported.
Am I correct, or does Acrobat somehow retain paragraph styles and publishers can retrieve?
