I have Acrobat X and installed it on 2 computers. The first computer's hard drive crashed so I cannot "deactivate" it to install it on a new computer. On the second computer, I uninstalled it before deactivating it.  How do I deactivate these versions so that I can re-install?

You can't. You need to contact Adobe and ask for an "activation count reset". Do not mention it's for Acrobat X, as they might try to tell you that's it's not a supported product, which is true but irrelevant. They should still help you with this issue. Also don't let them forward you back here, as we can't help you with this issue, only they can. If they refuse to help ask to talk to a supervisor. Good luck!
