We recently moved and in the move, my Adobe Acrobat XI Pro box was put somewhere in storage and only God knows where it is. So I have no access to the original box containing the serial number or the DVD.
My problem is that Acrobat started acting up (Acrobat documents closed after being open for only 10 seconds) so I found the Adobe file contained in the "Program Files (x86)" Folder and located the folder entitled "Acrobat 11.0" containing the "Setup Files" folder and inside that a folder with a long series of letters and numbers and within THAT the Setup executable file.
I ran setup (repair) and it did indeed fix the problem of the Adobe files closing, but now I am missing my tools (Delete page, Add Page, etc.).
Warning: I am not very teckie. Any idea how to get the tools back?

Can you show a screen shot? It's been a long time since I've used Acrobat XI.
Is it the options on the right or the left side that you are missing? The left side is panels and you can reset them in the View menu or by right-clicking the gray area on the left where you would see the panels. The one with Delete Pages and Add Pages is called the Pages panel. The Tools are across the top. They can be reset from the View menu or right-clicking the toolbar or with Alt+F8.
If you mean that you had tools (across the top) that are missing, then that was something you customized and you can put them back. Without a screen shot, though, these are all guesses.
Please clarify.
