Acrobat XL to DC

I have a license key for Adobe XL-- is it essentially uselss now or can I still use it for DC?

I can't seem to figure out where to imput the product key in the adobe app.

I added it to my account and now it just says I've added:

Acrobat

Version: 11.0

Platform: Windows

Registration Date: Aug 26, 2020

But I can't figure out how to use it

It's XI (11 in Roman numerals), not XL. It's not useless, unless you don't have access to the installer, since Adobe no longer offers it. And it's too old to qualify for an upgrade price. You'll need to purchase a new full license for Acrobat DC (or Acrobat 2020).
