Action wizard Crop Multiple files

New Here ,

I need to crop white margins to many files at once.
I set-up this action:

- selecting the files/folder
- crop pages
- save

it works pretty fine but IMO have some bugs.
it open one file at time save it and exit ...at the end the last one remains opened.F.

My idea is just starting the action and see a status bar while it's working so without opening the files and closing also the last one.

Is there a way to do it?
Thanks a lot!
F.

Unfortunately, no, it's not possible to tell the application not to visually display the files. Would have been nice if it were...

And yes, there's a long-standing bug in Acrobat where the last file remains open when running an Action. Seems like it's something very easy to solve, yet it hasn't been for several years now.

Yes, there was a serious step backwards in functionality between Acrobat X and XI in terms of batch processes. Some crucial features were removed, the efficiency became much lower and overall it's a worse feature. I've reported it at the time and an Adobe employee basically replied that it was by design, as the Action Wizard was not meant for processing large amounts of files, only small batches.

I suggest you complain about it here: Feature Request/Bug Report Form
