Adobe Acrobat Combining

I would like to combine 4 files with the same field names without using the portfolio.
I tried:

File > Save as Other > PDF Optimizer. Selected Discard Objects in the left-hand column, checked “Flatten form fields”, and click OK. But the system still wants me to create a portfolio.

Is there a way to combine those files without creating a portfolio?
