When using the comments tab to insert text boxes the resultant text box will not accept typed text or pasted text.

The text box outline can only be deleted by clicking on the "Edit" tab and then clicking on the undo option.

This has only happened recently.

I think you're more likely to get an answer to this question if I move you to the Acrobat forum.

Can you tell us some more details?  Windows or Mac?  Exact version?  And the technique you are using (dragging a text box, just clicking, etc.).  Does this happen with a specific PDF, or any PDF?  Does the new text box comment show up in the list of comments in the comment panel?

Armed with more details, we might be able to help fix the problem.

My best,

Dave
