Hello,
We are currently using Adobe Reader Version 2019.008.20071 and some of ou users have a problem in the viewer of SAP VIM.
The viewer use Acrobat Reader to display the PDF.
After an amount of time (it dépends on the user, sometimes less than 45 minutes) the sap vim viewer freeze and you have to kill the process to allow the system to display again the PDF.
The problem doesn't seem from SAP VIM.
We 've tried to upgrade the Acrobat Reader Version but it didn't work.
We 've tried to delete the local files in Appdata, etc but it also didn't work.
Has someone ever expericenced something like that?
If the answer is yes, how did you resolve the issue ?
Regards
Etienne

What do SAP say?
When it works, is the PDF file shown in the Acrobat Reader window, or the VIM window?

We've never reproduce in our tests systems the issue, so SAP said that they can't analyze it.
I've seen the issue on the user computer but not on my own.
The pdf is displayed in the Vim Window but the problem seems from Acrobat Reader.
For one of the user, when we delete the app data files, the problem disapeared for a while but it came back.
Like there is some corrupted files in local that make acrobat reader freeze.
We've also changed the user computer/windows but it didn't worked.

Hello!
I found this chat and can confirm that in my company we have the same problem. The link about 'troubleshoot errors, freeze for Windows did not solve the problem.
Did you find another solution?
Regards
Andreas
