Adobe Acrobat shut down itself !!!!

When ever I opened my pdf and click on the document like text or anything on it, the pdf shut down itself with out any message.  This only happen when I clicked on the document but not the program interface such as button or the programe border.

I uninstall and reinstall = not working

uncheck the security enhance = not working

run adobe distiller = not working 

help!

Can you tell us what operating system, the program (Acrobat Pro?  Reader?), and the exact version number? It may help troubleshoot.
