Adobe asking for Permissions Password when I never set one

I recently created an Adobe Acrobat PDF and it took hours to make it. After I saved it, I tried to open it back up to finish filling it out, but it started asking for a Permissions Password. I've never set a password. I tried entering in my Adobe login password and it didn't accept it. What happened? How do I get back into my document?
