Hi Santosh,

Thanks for sharing the version. Do you get this blank screen with all the files or this is a specific one? You may try the following steps:

1- After getting all the work saved, restart your computer, and reopen Acrobat.

2- Open a different file, if that doesn't let you redact either, then Navigate to Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security">OK>close and reopen Acrobat
Note: these changes are only for testing purpose. Once tested, please change it back to the previous setting.

3- For this document, check whether document security allows to make any changes or not. Open file>right click>Document Properties>Security>Content changing allowed or not.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi Akanchha,

The document allows content changing and the protected mode is off . Its happeing across all documents we have.

Its not displaying the page about redaction instead shows a white blank space

Hi Santosh

++ Adding to suggestion by Akki_24

Are you getting the white box before you apply the redaction or after applying redaction to the PDF?

By default, thin red outlines appear around images and text you mark for redaction, and black boxes appear in place of redacted images and text. You can set the default appearance of redaction marks before you mark items for redaction. You can also change the look of redaction marks before you apply the redaction.

For more information please look at the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/removing-sensitive-content-pdfs.html#change_the_look_of_red...

If it is after applying redaction, what you see is not a white box, but the paper colour behind. Redaction is a "deep slice" in the PDF, removing everything at that point. Graphics, lines, text, background, everything. This is a vital property of redaction, because files commonly have text in hidden layers or images that must be removed reliably.

Hope this information will help

Regards

Amal
