adobe pdf rotating pages

New Here ,
Mar 01, 2017 Mar 01, 2017

When printing a page from a pdf using adobe pdf it rotates the page 90 degrees(portrait to landscape). I could set it to print as an image which keeps the original portrait view but the quality goes down.

Nothing I can find in the settings is set to rotate the page.  Is there a setting I am missing that is causing this to happen?

The only fix currently is to rotate the page back to what it was in the original document and save again.

One thing that comes to mind is that many people seem to confuse the Rotate Page command and the Rotate View command.  The first thing is ensure that you have rotated the page within your document.  I Right-click on the page thumbnail and choose the "Rotate Pages..." command.  Rotating the view does not alter the PDF file, and merely presets it to you differently.

In the Print dialog box, see how your setting read at the bottom under Orientation. That is where pages can be automatically rotated for printing if the Auto Portrait/Landscape option is set.

I hope this helps.

My best,

Dave

Reader Version: 15.023.20070.19033

This version of reader now prints the page bottom out first; the opposite of the older versions!

The older version printed the top of the page out first as Microsoft Word does.

How do I fix this?
