Hello. Our user informed us (IT support) that on his computer Adobe Portfolio does not work Portfolio (in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro) without a Flash player. After first error (12.01.2021) of Flash player - he deleted it (Flash player) from his compiter (as it recommended on your web-page), but Portfolio still does not work and we cannot fix it by ourself.

Could you help us please? What do we need to install, instead of flash player?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Oleksandra

Adobe announced Flash Player's end-of-life in July 2017, three and a half years ago, giving content creators over 3 years to migrate their Flash content to a different technology.

For reference:

Acrobat 9 is very old and no longer supported.  Newer versions of Acrobat no longer rely on Flash Player to render Portfolio content.

Moving to Acrobat forum where folks more knowledgable in Acrobat can assist.

Acrobat DC (2021.001.20135) still requires Flash to view portfolios.

LATEST

The latest versions of Acrobat do not support Flash at all!

Porfolios only display the list of files and access to same, but not the extended “experience” that Flash provided.

Adobe Flash is dead. If you use the latest version of Acrobat or Reader it should be able to handle those files.

If you have an older version then you'll need to convert them outside of Acrobat to remove the Flash dependency.

You can do it using this (paid-for) stand-alone tool I've recently developed:
