A user of this software (Version 21.001.20135 I believe) is having an issue where whenever they print using the adobe PDF printer, it will append a significant amount of Chinese character to the end of the file extension. The characters can be deleted, making the document usable again however I cannot seem to find anything that would cause this.

It would be really helpful if you could share the a screenshot or sample file (having additional character) of the same?
The version mentioned above is 21.001.20135. Suggest the user to install the most recent patch version 21.001.20142 and see if that makes a difference.
Also, check the printer drivers whether its up-to-date or not.
Is user able to print other file formats without any trouble? Or is it just with Acrobat DC.
These details would be helpful to understand the root cause of the issue.
