May be that a documentation about this old and unsupported version is not more available.
You says in first reply Acrobat Reader can't assemble documents and can't extract pages.
and hence this permissions are not shown.
Please notice that Page Extraction Permission is shown here in Adobe Reader 9
Please check the image I have sent above.
Acrobat Reader DC can't extract pages.
meance this is not for all acrobat readers
We don't know what kind of features and bugs are found in all the ancient and obsolete versions of Reader. You are free to experiment!
Even if the permissions allow you to do it, Reader can't do it.
Such a limit to an single application?
one or two are considarable but this is too much.
Please confirm once your side.
I am talking about Adobe Reader 9.
This are not shown total 4 permissions.
Acrobat Reader is free and has only one purpose. To encourage people to want more and pay for Acrobat. Don't be surprised.
May be that the displayed information is not correct.
Reader is very limited, yes. As the name suggests, it is intended to view PDF files, not edit or create them (which is what extracting a page does, effectively). In order to be able to do that you need to get Acrobat, or the PDF Pack online service.
