Hello together!

 

How can i insert a Google Analytics Link in a PDF-File (to analyse who opend the PDF, etc.) ? Is it possible? - Thanks?

Hey Meyerbeck,

 

Acrobat DC allows you to insert any Links/Hyperlinks within PDF, but embedding Google Analytic link is something would not be possible.

If there's a way, then it must be using some Javascript/Coding. Sadly, we don't have expertise in that.

No. And even if you could, you can't guarantee that every PDF viewer would execute the link.

However, Adobe Embed API will let you display a PDF and collect very detailed information about the customer journey through the file.

See the article here. It references Adobe Analytics but you can hook up GA as well.
