This crash seems to happen when the user is adding highlights or text to a PDF (which creates comments) so there's something up with comments/signatures that's causing it.  Trying to identify if it's just on certain documents or not as it's somewhat random.

Here's the crash report, it's always in "Annots.api"

What exactly were you trying to install, remove, or customize?

This particular error means that the module Annots.api (or anh of its dependencies) is not registered appropriately in the correct 64-bit or 32-bit folder path.

When the program that calls for it starts it expects to find that module in a specific directory path, and when it calls for it, and doesn't finds it, it is not able to load up.

I would say to uninstall Acrobat, then use the Acrobat Cleanup and repair tool, force a manual update of your version of MS Windows, and then reinstall your program.

The cleanup tool should be able to remove old traces of software and prepare your system to accept a fresh installation of Acrobat.
