Apply ink signature using a Microsoft surface pro.

I have a question about applying an ink signature using a Microsoft surface pro usign Windows 10.  Previously I was able to sign documents with the surface pen.  However, the functionality has changed when I go to draw the signature nothing happens with the pen.  When I apply the ink signature using the mouse I am able to draw a signature.  This operation is similar on two different laptops.  Confirm if there is a setting for Adobe to recognize the surface pen for signature or is there a better method.
