Binding different highlighter colors

Hello I'm a current student trying to take notes in my eTextbooks and was wondering if there was a shortcut to switch between highlighter colors or perhaps a setting where I can rebind keys to do the task?  Thanks and be safe!

There's no built-in command that does it (you have to go to Properties, select a new color, set as default, etc.), which is why I've developed this (paid-for) tool that allows you to do so quickly and easily:
