Adobe Acrobat Standard DC (2015)
A while back, I created several hyperlinks in one pdf that reference many other pdf files. I had them set so that clicking on the hyperlink opens up a specific page in the other documents.
However, as I was reorganizing files on my computer last week the hyperlinks were damaged. They are still present and the "click" symbol appears when I hover over it, but clicking it does nothing.
I have checked the properties and this is what I have found:
Add/Edit Document Link --> Right Click on hyperlink --> Properties --> Actions
Under the "Actions" Tab, I see:
"go to a page in another document"
File: (File directory)
Page
Zoom Level
Everything seems normal here. The action is correct, the file directories haven't changed, and the page number is still there.
Now I hit the "Edit" button. There is an option to browse for the file, but the file is already selected (and is the correct file).
Below that is the "Options" box, which is where I think the problem is. On a working link, I have the ability to edit these fields (in my case, I am using the "Use Page Number" field in which I can choose the page number and zoom level). However, on the broken links, these fields are greyed out. So far the only way I have found to fix this is to hit the browse option and reselect the file. This then gives me the option to enter in a page number.
I can do this one by one, but I have well over hundred hyperlinks in this document. Does anyone know of a less-tedious solution that could maybe fix my hyperlinks in one swoop?
