Can't convert Scanned PDF file to Excel

Community Beginner ,
May 14, 2019 May 14, 2019

Hi,

I am using the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and i am trying to convert the Scanned PDF file (SECURED) to Excel file on which i can do some edit i.e. Copy and Paste in excel but i am not able to edit the Converted Excel file. Means to say that the Excel file which got converted is in the Image format.

i have also tried to use the "Enhance Scan" function but it can't help to edit or search the required content in the Scanned PDF File.

One of my colleague who has Adobe Acrobat 10 is able to convert the same Scanned PDF file to Excel successfully.

Kindly help on this.

Thanks

Deep

Hi Deep,

Have you checked the "Recognize text if needed" option in the setting? If not, the please try by checking this option on.

Also, Is this file complete scanned document or does it have any text along with scanned images?

Regards,

Akanksha Garg

Hi Akanksha,

Already checked in the "Recognize text if needed" option but the result is same.

The file is combination of both text and scanned document but the major part (80%) is scanned image.

Thank you,

Deep
