I'm using Adobe 2017 at work... When I go to Tools, Prepare Form to edit the existing text field boxes on a form, I can't change the text field width freely or add a text box wherever I want. It's like there are margins set that are stuck or something is preventing me from editing the boxes freely. I used to be able to make them any size or place them anywhere on a form. For example if I remove the text box next to Hourly Rate, and try to add a new text field box it won't let me place it right where I need to or adjust the size freely. I've notieced this now with any form I try to edit. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. Thank you!!
Disable the option "Snap to Grid" or change the grid.
How do I disable it?
It is somewhere at the view menu.
Go to View - Show/Hide - Rulers&Grids and tick off "Snap to Grid".
