Can't paste text while in "editing text and images"

After this last update, while I'm in the "Editing Text and Images" mode I can't paste text to the correct location. I'll have a selection of text highlighted to paste over, but when I try to paste it just sends the text into a new text box in the middle of the document. What's going on here?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As mentioned, while in the "Editing Text and Images" mode you can't paste text to the correct location.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 21.01.20138 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once and see if that works for you.
