I'm trying to follow this:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/host-shared-reviews-on-sharepoint-office-365-sites.html

But step 3 does not appear. Did this get removed? We cannot be sending HIPPA data to Adobe cloud, it needs to reside on our sharepoint. Is this no longer possible?

Hi Trevor5E61,

This is possible. Acrobat will continue to support collaborative reviews via local servers/SharePoint or web.

To use the collaborative reviews via local servers/SharePoint or web, please follow the steps below-

-Launch Acrobat app

-Open Preferences (Use ctrl+k on Windows or cmd+k on Mac)

-Select "Reviewing" from left pane

-Uncheck the option "Share for review using the Adobe Document Cloud"

-Click "OK" to save and close the Preferences dialog

- Now click "Send for Comments" from RHP or tool center, you will be redirected to the older collaborative methods.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you face any issues?

Regards,

Arvind

In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, version 2022.002.20191, if you find a new UI, perform the following steps:

  1. Open Adobe.
  2. Go to File and select Disable new Adobe

In the new UI, Send for comments option is not available. You cannot enable that setting in the Preferences too.
