Cannot open internet downloaded pdf in Adobe DC

Since reloading Windows 10 on HP all in one PC cant open pdf files downloaded from internet in Adobe DC - always opens in browser. Fixes on net are extraordinarily complex.

Make your Adobe Acrobat Pro DC the default PDF owner.

If that doesn't work because MS Windows reverts to the MS Edge browser, for example, uninstall the latest update that Microsoft pushed during the last two weeks of July 2020.  Here's a good little video: Windows 10 - How to Uninstall or Remove Updates
