Cannot sign PDF document with CAC certificate

I am trying to sign PDF documents on my Macbook using my CAC certificate.  My card reader and CAC is working with all other CAC restricted sites I am trying to access.  

I am using Adobe version 2020.013.20074, my Macbook OS is version 11.1

Everytime I try to add a digital ID through the preferences, I receive the error message saying Adobe could not find any digital ID's.
