I opened a pdf in our work's Adobe Acrobat Professional vs. 8.1. I then did the OCR Text Recognition for the pdf. When I print the document it is too light. I think the other business used a gray. I'm trying to change the font color to black but I can't find anywhere to do that.
Also, I'm confused with what I am finding on the Adobe website. I see info on Acrobat Standard DC & Acrobat Pro DC for monthly payments. Our software at work is Adobe Acrobat Professional vs. 8.1.0.. I can't find info or tutorials on that. Is this an old version that Adobe doesn't have or support anymore? Is there somewhere I can get tutorials for our program?
Thanks,
Pat

It's now 11 years since Acrobat 8 was replaced. Since then, Acrobat 9, 10 and 11 have come and go - none are supported any more. The current version is Acrobat DC (subscription) and Acrobat 2017 (perpetual license).

Yes, it's a very old version, not supported by Adobe and not compatible with any current operating system.

Thanks,
I talked to my IT guy and he installed acrobat pro 2017. I've been learning thru trial and error. It seems that even the pro 2017 version isn't that user friendly and when I watch the tutorials or read the articles it doesn't address my questions. It seems to me that if Adobe and better, more tutorials and articles to address questions, there wouldn't be so many questions in this forum. Especially for what I'm sure most of you think are simple, basic questions.
