CHANGING PDF TO A FILLABLE PDF USING ACROBAT

I am looking to update some old forms and applications and I would like to know how or where to start changing an old Microsoft Word doc. that I saved as a PDF into a form that can be fillable for all that are sent it. Any help is appreciated
