Check boxes?

New Here ,
Dec 02, 2018 Dec 02, 2018

Is there an easy way to change the # in the field names.  I copied checkboxes 50 times for the same size on a document but one click gives me 50 ticks.  Any way I can accept the new checkbox names i.e. checkbox1#2, checkbox 1#3.    I just need it to be checkbox12, checkbox 13 etc.

No, there isn't an easy way of doing it. You can either do it manually (you will need to change the actual base name of the field), or you can do it using a script that re-creates those fields in order to give them a unique name, like this (paid-for) tool I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Rename Duplicate Fields to Unique Fields
