checkbox borders inconsistent

New Here ,

The checkbox property is set to a black thin border. However, when selected, the board may show up thick (bold) or thin. It seems random. I am updating from version 19 Acrobat DC to see if it changes. I can't find any setting that would impact the way it appears. It seems to be a bug.

Does it still do that if you zoom in? If not, it's a common optical issue

that PDF files have with thin lines.

It might be solved if you go to Edit - Preferences - Page Display and tick

"Enhance thin lines".

I did have the enhance thin lines selected. The trick seems that you have to be at 100% for all lines to display consistently. It is not ideal when you have a form that is meant to open in a two-page format. Looks less than professional.
