Chrome not save PDF document

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC installed. Clicking on "convert Web page to PDF". Receive the "downloading for conversion..." box. Sometimes (but not always) this is followed by a "Save" dialogue box but, when I check, the file is not there.

Hi Lindac,

As per the description above, you are not able to convert the web page to PDF using Adobe Chrome extension, Is that correct?

Please refer to the following links for troubleshooting steps:

Cannot convert Web page to PDF with Adobe Chrome extension Link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2252297

Webpage   "Conversion Failure" - Chrome Browser Link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2089300

If possible, please repair the Acrobat Pro DC from Help>Repair installation.

You can also enable-disable the Chrome extension.

Hope this helps, and keep us posted with the results.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

Thank you Anand but I had already tried all the suggestions in those links. I am bothered by the last statement in one of them, however:

The Acrobat plugin is no longer compatible with Chrome. You should run it from within Acrobat itself, via File - Create - PDF from Web Page...

Best wishes,

Linda

Hi Lindac,

The statement is for an old version of an extension. If you want, you can enable the Create PDF extension from the following link: Enable Create PDF extension for Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/enable-createpdf-extension-chrome.html

If possible, please repair the Acrobat Pro DC from Help>Repair installation.

If this does not help, you can uninstall and reinstall Acrobat/Reader.

Hope this helps, and keep us posted with the results.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

Hello Anand,

I had already enabled the extension, otherwise I would not have been able to use it. I had also tried repairing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC but that did not resolve the problem. I shall try uninstalling/re-installing. Thank you for the information about the compatibility comment.
