Hello,
I need to print reports from an application that, for whatever reason, prints each page as an individual print job. For instance, if I have to print a 10 page report, it would be sent as 10 separate print jobs (so 10 pdfs if sent to Adobe PDF printer). It's really annoying because I get 10 popup windows asking me how and where I'd like to save the pdf, when in reality, I'd prefer for the spooler to hold all of the print job, let me merge them, and then print the merged job. I know this can be done using PDFCreator, but my current job won't allow me to have that software, and I am forced to use Acrobat Pro.
Is there any way to for the spooler to wait and collect print job, merge the jobs, and then allow me to print it as one job?
Thank you!

So is your application sending the files directly to the printer? Or does it open them in Acrobat and then attempts to print them?
Acrobat by itself can't do what you've described. It can certainly merge existing files and then print them as a single document, but it can't create a "print queue" for you. You'll need to do that in the application that generates the files.

Yes, the files are being sent directly to the Adobe Acrobat printer, so a Save dialog pops up for each print out. I will talk to software support for the other software to see if they can resolve...
