When typing in a comment box, I can usually hit "Enter" to start a new line of text. But for some reason, now the cursor goes back to the beginning of the line and enters my second line of text right over the top of the first one! I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling Acrobat to fix this. Sometimes that works, but the problem inevitably returns. I wish I could return to an earlier version of Acrobat Reader...because I think the problem started earlier this year when I completed a product update. Suggestions?
Sorry to hear about such experience. Would you mind confirming the exact version of Acrobat you are working with currently? There isn't such issues reported with the latest release of Acrobat/Reader, neither its reproducible at our end.
Still no luck? Then, Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Startup" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot Reader
Note: Changing the above security settings could pose security risks. We suggest you to turn it back On once you are done with testing.
Thank you. I uninstalled and cleansed, then reinstalled. My OS is up to date. The problem has gone away (just like before). If it comes back, I'll try the security settings you suggested. Thank you!
